Set near Stainmore, edging the Yorkshire Dales National Park, it offers great walking from the door. The market town of Kirkby Stephen, with restaurants, shops and Carlisle/Settle railway station is 6 miles as is England’s highest pub. Barnard Castle and Bowes Museum 10 miles, Ullswater 25 miles. Pub 4 miles.

Three bedrooms. Entrance porch. Double bedroom with 5' bed, walk in wardrobe and ensuite shower room/WC. Double bedroom with 5' bed and ensuite bathroom/WC. Large twin bedded room with two additional pull out beds (for + 2) and walk in wardrobe. Bathroom/WC and separate shower cubicle. Utility room. First floor: Spacious sitting room with electric 'wood burner effect' fire and study. Large kitchen/dining room. Laundry room.

The owners put themselves out to help, (due to adverse weather conditions) i.e. towing us to the accommodation and again back to our cars at the end of our stay. Mr & Mrs Sinclair were very friendly people and made us most welcome. The accommodation was fantastic and very comfortable.
